Tourette Syndrome: Tics, Support, And Resources

Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological disorder characterized by involuntary, repetitive movements or vocalizations called tics. These tics can range from eye blinking and head jerking to more complex or socially inappropriate behaviors like swearing or shouting (coprolalia). The Tourette Association of America (TAA) and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Tourette Center provide resources and support for individuals with TS.
