Artificial Lights on Proxima b
Astronomers have detected artificial lights on Proxima b, the nearest exoplanet to Earth. The discovery was made using a Very Large Telescope located in Chile, and was published in the journal Nature. The research team, led by Mathias Zechmeister of the European Southern Observatory (ESO), believe that these lights could potentially provide evidence of life beyond Earth.
